In 2003, Coy Wire (Buffalo Bills Defensive Back) initiated a philanthropic fund to help various charitable organizations in the Western New York Community.

Through the efforts of Local Business's and a posse of volunteers a number of organizations benefited monetarily. Some of the major recipients were:

Coy continues to be a leader in the Western New York Region with special interest in:

• Programs that will promote education, character building
• and goal setting skills
• Initiatives that will promote spiritual awareness
• Helping families and individuals with "special needs"
